Rules and Regulations

South Park Fly Fishers

Any Permittee found to be in violation of the following Rules & Regulations shall be asked to leave immediately and shall be prohibited from future access to the Property:

  1. Permittees shall secure on-line (website) reservations to access the Property in advance of their arrival. Nonrefundable credit card payments shall be made at the time of reservation.
  2. No more than four (4) Permittees per day shall be allowed on the Property. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. One fishing guide approved in advance by the County may accompany any four (4) Permittees at no charge provided those guides do not fish.
  3. Fishing is permitted by fly rod and artificial flies only (no bait, lures or chemical attractants). Fishing shall be "Catch & Release" only; all fish must be returned immediately to the water.
  4. Each Permittee shall obtain a day permit and sign a binding waiver of liability, assumption of risk and hold harmless agreement at the Como Depot (Hotel) in Como.
  5. Permittee parking is limited to the two designated parking areas (east and west of US Highway 285).
  6. Permittees shall only enter areas within the Fishing Easement Boundary.
  7. No fires or firearms shall be permitted on the Stream Frontage or the Property.
  8. Camping is not permitted on the Property.
  9. No dogs or other pets are permitted on the Property.
  10. The disposal of cigar/cigarette butts, toilet paper, cans, bottles, paper, packaging, fishing leader, diapers, human excrement and all other garbage and waste is prohibited on the property.
  11. Smoking of cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or any other form of smoking by Permittees is prohibited on the Property.
  12. Entry to any lands outside the Fishing Easement Boundary is considered trespassing.
