Located on the banks of the meandering Tarryall River at the base of Bison Peak in the Lost Creek Wilderness, Ute Trail River Ranch is a restored, historic fly-fishing & hunting guest ranch.

Ute Trail River Ranch offers hand-hewn log cabins each with inviting, comfortable mountain lodge decor. All are fully furnished with bed & bath linens, down comforters & wool blankets, and fully furnished kitchens complete with dinnerware & cookware. The cabins accommodate from two to six people. The two large, premier cabins (Bear Dance & Tabeguache)have private bedrooms and private baths with showers while the other smaller, seasonal cabins share a convenient shower house containing 2 full baths (one for gals/one for guys).

Fishing on the ranch's two miles of private river is restricted to fly fishing with a fly rod and reel only and is strictly catch and release. FISHING LICENSES (which are required) & LOCALLY HAND-TIED FLIES can be purchased at the small general store located in the main lodge. Ute Trail River Ranch is open year-round with the two private bath cabins and one B&B suite in the main lodge. The seasonal shared bath cabins are open from mid-May to early October (weather permitting).
